Coming from the North Take I-65 south to State Rd. 56 (Scottsburg exit). Travel through Scottsburg. Go about 4 miles east of the city to a blinking yellow light. This is State Rd. 3. Turn rt. on State Rd. 3. Go 17 miles to Charlestown. As you enter Charlestown, the hospital will be on your right. Go about a mile. You will see Casey’s (like a 7/11 or Circle K)on your left. Turn left just before Casey’s onto Monroe St. The church will be on your left right after Bohart Lane. There are two driveways into the church parking lot. Coming from Madison area Take State Rd. 56 west through Hanover to where State Rd. 62 meets it. Turn left (the only way you can go) on to State Rd. 62. Take it through New Washington. Charlestown is 12 miles from New Washington. (You will pass the Charlestown State Park on your right. You will see a monument place on your right. After that on your right comes Jefferson St. followed by Monroe St. (Webb’s Auto Body is on the right hand corner). Turn right on to Monroe St. Go 1.2 miles. The church will be on your right. There are two driveways into the church parking lot. Coming from Evansville area. Take Interstate Hwy. 64 east to Interstate Highway 265 east. Follow Interstate Hwy. 265 to the Charlestown exit on to State Rd. 62. Take the Charlestown ramp. You will come off it headed towards Charlestown. In 7 miles State Rd. 62 will become divided just before the light at State Rd. 3. Stay in the right hand lane. There are just three streets left to Charlestown after that stop light at Hwy. 3. Monroe St. is the second street and is on your left. Mr. Pest Control and Webb’s Auto Body are on the left hand corners. Turn left on to Monroe St. You are 1.2 miles from the church. The church will be on your right. There are two driveways into the church parking lot. Coming from the Vincennes area. Go east on State Rds. 50/150 to State Rd. 150. Continue east to State Rd. 56. Take State Rd. 56 east through Salem into Scottsburg. Travel through Scottsburg. Go about 4 miles east of the city to a blinking yellow light. This is State Rd. 3. Turn rt. on State Rd. 3. Go east on State Rd. 46 through Bloomington towards Columbus. Then take Interstate 65 south. Take I-65 south to State Rd. 56 (Scottsburg exit). Travel through Scottsburg. Go about 4 miles east of the city to a blinking yellow light. This is State Rd. 3. Turn rt. on State Rd. 3. Go 17 miles to Charlestown. As you enter Charlestown, the hospital will be on your right. Go about a mile. You will see Casey’s (like a 7/11 or Circle K) on your left. Turn left just before Casey’s onto Monroe St. The church will be on your left right after Bohart Lane. There are two driveways into the church parking lot. (Or when you get to Bloomington take State Rd. 37 south to Bedford. Then go east on State Rd. 50 to Interstate 65 south. Then follow the directions for coming from the north.) If walking is difficult, have whoever is driving you, drop you off at the front glass doors – that’s the main entrance. We will have a wheel chair available to get you into the building and to a place in the sanctuary/fellowship hall, and back. Restrooms are handicap accessible. The church is all on one level. We will have parking attendants to direct you/help you, etc. |
